STAPLES TUITION GRANTS – For 64 years this program has provided financial assistance to qualified Staples seniors and graduates who plan to continue their education. The single largest distributor of tuition grant dollars in Westport, the Staples Tuition Grants Committee is responsible for dispersing funds contributed by over one hundred individuals, PTAs, civic organizations, local businesses and trusts. Awards range from several hundred to several thousand dollars and are granted based on financial need, academic effort and school and community involvement. A completed Profile of FAFSA Form must accompany every application. Tuition Grants Scholarships are available on line at staplestuitiongrants.org.

WESTPORT WOMAN’S CLUB SCHOLARSHIPS – Open to male and female seniors. Need and academic achievement (no lower than 3.0 academic GPA) are important factors. Among a number of awards, there is one designated for someone involved in art, music or theatre.  

DOROTHY ADAMS AWARD – Open to seniors who are in the top half of the class and plan to enter the field of education. Service to the school and/or community involvement is considered.

WESTPORT P.A.L. ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP – Awarded to a Staples senior planning to pursue a career in physical education or a related field. The student must have participated in the Staples athletic program.

WESTPORT P.A.L . CITIZENSHIP SCHOLARSHIPS – Awarded to two Staples seniors in recognition of their outstanding citizenship and contributions to their school and community.

JONATHAN UMAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP – Awarded by the Police Citizenship League of Westport to a Staples senior in recognition of their outstanding citizenship and contributions to their school and community. Jonathan Uman was one of the victims of 9/11.

P.J. ROMANO MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP - Awarded by the Police Athletic League of Westport to Staples a senior for being a well-rounded, dedicated, down to earth student at Staples.
