Blue Nile
Mark Zappi
Transcending fruitful abyss pales contemplative thought,
That contemplating the thought of the thought’s strength is ludicrous
Wind shines between the glamour to reveal
As to conceal real energy of positivism.
Frankly, seeing is not seeing how appreciating is appreciating
To sit, to stare, to look, to imagine, to see, to glorify, to contradict
Is the essence of the mind
Cascades of depth-containing masses
Is healing refreshment for the few, and tiny particles for the many
Gingerly accepting seen phenomena
Is not the fomentation of self-revealing
Clutching the waters of entitlement,
Lingering for the rays of discernment.
This is the core of our spirit.
