And That Was All

Nikita Shpilberg

The night has slumped on the weary knight

And stars abstained from view

And morbid were the screams tonight

And hungry was its crew

‘Brupt arrow sliced the hero’s brain!

Alas, t’was but his thought untamed,

The memories of a girl alone

Her Path in making

Where to

Unknown

How stars arranged he sought for long

Where Path is made and where she halts,

To know, to see, to feel her there

To find eyes

That look above

In constellations

But to here known…

            And that was all.
