People hang on flag poles,
Children die in gopher holes.
The sun crashes into the moon,
A two foot blizzard rolls on in June.
Screaming ants,
And ripping pants.
Crying apes swimming the seas,
Clouds floating, high and free.
Swearing trees,
And broken knees.
Water Boiling at –24,
Women walking from door to door.
Metal melting, while metal lives,
The beggar turns and gives.
Grass blades dancing, while fire freezes,
There was this old guy named Jesus.
Houses burning,
The world turning.
Lava is still,
Dirt collects on the window sill.
We all just need to chill…
Live your life, and don’t let it live you…
And if that poem was confusing---
It was to me too.
