WEB SITE CREW
Senior Manager: Graham Rowlands
Crew Head:
Crew Members:
Scott French - SophomoreZara Wladowsky - Senior
Eric Schoeller - Senior
note: Due to the very intricate workings in the maintaining of a web site,
the web crew will consist of a maximum of two members from every class at
Staples. The membership will be very exclusive simply because an
excellent knowledge of web oriented technology is mandatory.
Mission Statement (the goals and responsibilities of this crew):
The Web Crew has been charged with the creation and management of the
official web site of the Staples Players. This includes
-Server maintenance
-Site maintenance
-Content control
GOALS:
Informational content: The players web site will contain the following content (although some of it already exists).
Links
Studio Theatre Productions
Mainstage Productions
News Regarding the Organization
Information of the technical crews of Staples Players
History of the Organization
Media related to any production
Mission Statement of the Organization (Director's Note)
Resources
A Section of the Site Devoted to our trip to Scotland
Rehearsal and meeting schedules
Links will be links to multiple different places, including theatre sites and
possibly links to personal sites of the members of Staples Players.
Studio Theatre Productions will contain a list of all studios done in the past
along with possibly the casting lists and if possible copies of programs etc.
Mainstage Productions will contain a record of all mainstage productions done at Staples,
also including cast lists and other related resources. A major focus will be
the current production; giving insight to the future event and having resources
such as schedules for rehearsals readily available to cast, crew, and visitors.
News will contain important information that is required knowledge; for example
a recent change in the rehearsal schedules or an essential meeting. News will
also exist for more "heart warming" news about recent accomplishments etc.
Tech Crews will have a simple list of all the crews associated with Staples
Players. Including the crew heads, crew members, crew accomplishments, work
agendas, and mission statements for each different team. This is also where members of crews can look to
find information about meetings, deadlines, etc.
History will be just that, it will contain information about the past of
Staples Players. Included will be names of past members with possibly short bios when available and text
regarding the formation of the organization.
Media will be the "carnival" of the web site. Media will contain any multi-
media having to do with our productions. This could possibly include
recordings of the pit compressed into mp3's; and videos of past shows
compressed into mp2's. This is where the boring web crew will have its fun.
Mission Statement/Directors notes willbe contributed by Mr. Roth; these
will regard the goals of players along with other information.
Resources will be resources for teachers that are oriented around theatre in
general.
The Scotland section will be an avid record of our experience in Europe.
These sections are only a few of many many more to come; due to the structure
of a web site there is room for endless expandability and addition. The web
crew will make all information easy to access and extremely worthwhile. Any
additional suggestions will be well welcomed and taken into extreme
consideration.
