MAKEUP AND HAIR CREW

Mission Statement (the goals and responsibilities of this crew):
The Make-up and Hair Crew serves primarily for major and studio productions, as well as Haunted House, and occasional face-paintings during fundraising events. When face-painting is necessary, we work in correlation with the Fundraising Crew. Our ultimate goal is to provide professional hair and make-up for each performing member of a production.
General Rules and Understandings:
· If there are any questions, feel free to approach an make-up and hair crew member who has had one year of experience. The reason for this is that they have experience with the material and the work.
· No one does their hair or make-up unless they are on the titular crew. This must be enforced.
· Should one do their make-up of hair by themselves, he or she must have the permission of only the senior manager(s).
· Share
· Every Make-up and Hair Crew member MUST clean up after EVERY SHOW.
· Those getting their hair/make-up done should be courteous and polite to the crew members, should they fail to do this, warn them that they will not be in the production should they not cooperate
· Smile
· Every member of the crew should have completed the basic training workshops in theatrical make-up and Haunted House make-up.
· Its a good idea to wear an apron

All members must be at every calleven if they are not working, they must make themselves useful during the time period. At least four Make-up and Hair crew members must be ready to help during intermission, and ALL crew members must be there after each production to clean up.
Studio Productions:
The senior managers will contact the amount of make-up crew members needed (usually up to three) for that studio. The chosen members must witness the show at least three days before it opens and understand make-up needs. They then must act as during a major production.
Haunted House:
After the amount of people involved in Haunted House is determined, the senior managers and crew head must organize schedule make-up times and the crew members able to work during those times. There is to be at least one make-up person in the make-up/hair room during all of the Haunted House period.
