How to organize the 11 systems of the body graphically, so as to demonstrate the inherent connections:
Choose five (5) systems that you conside to be among the most important . . .
NOTE: This is an inherently false construct, as all are important to a Human's survival. This is ONLY to simplify matters, as it would be better to use ALL 11!From among those five (5), choose one system as the pivotal system - the one that best connects to the other four (4) in terms of the systems' function!
Diagram the four graphically with the pivotal system occupying a central box, and the other four systems connecting to the central box with reversable arrows (see below).

Explain how the systems are functionally connected in one sentence per connection (four sentences in all), and write them over the arrows that visually indicate the connection (see below).

NOTE: Start out with students working individually, then have them share their construct, and then, in groups of four (4), come to a consensus, and then write their consensus on the board to share with the class.
