Integumentary System
The integumentary system includes the skin and all of its derivatives. Some of the "derivatives" is all of the bodily hair. The skin has many functions, some of which are, regulation of body temperature, protection, sensation, excretion, immunity, blood reservoir, and synthesizing vitamin D. The skin and other organs of the integumentary system receive their food and oxygen from almost every artery, and deposit their wastes in almost every vein. The skin has its interstitial fluid drained in most lymph nodes some of which are the cervical node and the iliac node. The skin is divided into layers, the epidermis, the dermis, the subcutaneous fate tissue, and muscle.
