State of the Union Response Speech
At the moment, the National Alliance Party wishes
to have an equal representation in the government, and to have greater control
over the oil of Cuborica.
Regarding the government, We believe that creating
a controlled environment and court where representation from all three parties
have equal power and say in issues regarding our country would help all
parties have a greater chance to voice their concerns. A good step into making
a better government would be having a constitutional convention, as stated in
the state of the union speech, where the three political parties would reform
the government. In such a meeting we would create a government so each party
has an equalizing effect by creating a congress. This may be a big step, but
we firmly believe that a critical reformation is needed for our country, not
just small, primary and unsatisfactory steps.
We expect to be fully and equally active in the
exploratory committees.
As a party, and as the people who control the
territory that consists of the richest supply of oil outside of the Rhine
Strip, we want a large percent of the profit that comes from the Cuborican oil
industry. Unlike Alaska who gets royalties, we want a percentage of the actual
profit, so we may expand on our education and help aid the unemployed. We
believe that this is a necessary step to creating economic equality between
the parites and people of Cuboricas. There have been 28 wars in Africa in the
last 3 years because of minerals and resources. Recently, in Nigeria, which
is the fifth largest provider of oil to the United States there have been
revolts and attacks by an organization called MEND which is the Movement for
the Emancipation of the Niger Delta. These people have taken more than 100
hostages in the last year. They are demanding profit and benefits from the oil
to further the economic advantages of the incredibly poor people of this
region. If the Boreceans do not get advantages and a percentage of the oil
profit our area may be a center for these kind of groups and attacks which
would not benefit the overall state of Cuborica.
Regarding the Rhine Strip and Bosgovnia, we do not
believe that war is necessary to work out our problems with them, and that
violence should only be used as a last resort. The Boreacan people do not wish
to be forced to fight the Bosgovnians, and will not respond well if forced to
battle.
